Nan Rees, one of the most popular fifties models, has died.

She passed away in May, 2012.

Nan's career began with the Ford agency in 1949 and her career ended in 1961, after she retired to raise a family.

Nan Rees appeared in many ads & magazine covers, most notably Mademoiselle.

She also appeared on the cover of McCall's for April 1955, along with 10 other top models; the cover was titled "Eleven Busiest Models". Nan is wearing a red dress.
